Visit by Sensei R.J. Carpenter 6th Dan Chief Instructor S.K.K.I.F. September, 2004. Held on the 8th & 9th,
The 1st day was held for the first time at the Edinburgh Dojo. After warm up we went straight into basics. We went through a series of combinations and within these moves their applications became evident.
This continued in Stirling the next day by moving on to more of the same. At the end he put the 1st Kyu's through their paces, namely their kumite syllabus and gave out useful comments. KSR Scotland thank you
for an excellent 2 day course.

Course and Grading by Sensei Jim Palmer 6th Dan. July, 2004. Held on the 11th,
Another masterclass from Sensei Palmer. After Kihon which built up to an eight move combination, Palmer Sensei then took the Class through some of the applications
from various Kata in his unique style. The grading followed and, as always, Sensei Palmer was firm but fair and everyone was pleased with the results. A brief
explanation of what each candidate should do to improve followed. With Kancho Kanazawa due later this year, everyone seemed happy to hear what Sensei Palmer had to say.

Course & Grading by Sensei Nobuaki Kanazawa 5th Dan. April 2004. Held on the 20th,
This superb Course was enjoyed by all as the SKIF Honbu Dojo Instructor showed that he epitomises the "Three F's "Fast, Flexible and Fit". Nobuaki is certainly made in
the same mould as his father and his skills as a teacher improve with every visit. A great course was followed by a Kyu Grading as Nobuaki Sensei put everyone through
their paces.
